Would Not Be God

Standard

God does not change because he cannot change. If he were ever to change, either what he was or what he would be must, of necessity, be imperfect. And, if he ever were or ever should be imperfect, then he would not be God. There was never a time when he was not perfect, and there will never be a time when he will not be perfect; therefore, there was never a time when he changed, nor will there ever be a time when he will change. — John D.
